Fritz Schlabach founded FreeBOLD to provide C-level executive services to a wide range of industries from nuclear energy to technology to agriculture. Serving as a change agent to professionalize and focus company efforts, he often leads strategic planning and is a key figure in facilitating investor plans to expedite the capital development process. He also has a broad range of international experience.
Most recently, Schlabach served as CFO for an international technology company with over 1,200 employees, working with OEMs like HP and some of the largest global banks; he was also CFO for several international engineering firms, one of whom served almost every major food and beverage company in the U.S.

Helped an established specialty shell egg company expand from $3 million to $32 million in revenue in less than five years by taking their products directly to the largest U.S. grocery chains.
About Fritz
Schlabach was born into an Old Order Amish family which served God and country by doing everything the hard way—no electricity, milking cows by hand, and growing all the groceries from farm to table. As the oldest son, Fritz was put in charge of farming 160 acres at 11, developing a fierce “can do” tenacity through baling twine and vice grips.
His leadership skills were further honed when, as a teenager, armed with an 8th grade education and a GED, Schlabach enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After serving honorably with distinction, he graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1988 from Washington & Lee University.

Led the launch of a wholesale building supply company that went from zero volume to over $1 million per month in their first year of operation.
Professional Life
After graduation, he joined Arthur Anderson & Co., becoming a CPA in Virginia and Ohio. He left public accounting after two years, joining a manufacturing firm in his first official C-level role.
